Gran Turismo is back baby. Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced that the next installment of GT called Sport will be available for the PS4 November 16, GT fans say Yeah.
Along with the release date a number of other details were made public with the announcement. The important numbers include: there will be 137 cars split into 4 categories, 19 locations with 27 tracks and 3 game modes, excited yet? The first two game modes, Arcade and Campaign (Formerly GT), will be familiar to GT fans but the third mode Sport is new to all. Sport mode introduces formalized worldwide multiplayer championships that culminate each year in FIA championship finals. Do you want to be the best in the world? Could you be the best in the world? Gran Turismo is turning into the test bed simulation of choice for futuristic supercar developers. The latest case in point is the Nissan 2020, a vision of Nissan’s supercar in the not too distant future.
The futuristic concept car is designated the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo and will be available as DLC for Gran Turismo 6 in July. At this week’s E3 conference Sny added a little detail to their plans for the amazing Playstation TV micro console and media device, also known as the Vita TV in Japan.

Now that PS4 manufacturing is more than satisfying demand Sony is preparing to get serious about bundles, the marketing machine has its thinking cap on and it’s had a bright idea. Let’s bundle the PlayStation 4 with the PS Vita.
According to s leaked BestBuy catalog the bundle price is listed as $559.98 USD and consists of the PS4, PS Vita and Borderlands 2 for the handheld. Amazon didn’t want to be left out of the leak action and accidentally let slip the bundle will finally be available July 4 in France.
Sony hasn’t commented on the highly anticipated bundle but with the E3 conference only a week away more details will hopefully come to light then.

Virtual and Augmented Reality systems may just be the future of gaming but for now they remain experiments, often taking place in a labs.
Sony’s PlayStation Lab has this week released two video’s demonstrating augmented reality using the PlayStation Move. Sony’s Smart AR system is able to track objects and generate graphics that uses this positional information. Making objects appear to be there when they are not, able to augment the real world.

Sony’s new DPT-S1 is hoping to displace one of the most ubiquitous and user friendly device ever invented, no small task.
In order to achieve the paperless revolution Sony has a technological revolution occurring behind the bezel of the DPT. This is the first device to use the new Mobius flexible plastic display. A technology that should see cheaper and more durable displays evolve.

Facebook declared a virtual reality war this week with the announcement that it has purchased Oculus and their Rift VR headset for $2 billion in cash and shares. With Sony recently announcing its Project Morpheus VR headset for the PS4 the scene has been set for the battle to control virtual reality.
Taking 3D to the extreme the latest generation VR headsets are able to immerse you in an experience so deeply that it will make you weak at the knees. Unlike 3D glasses the Rift and Morpheus fill your vision and are interactive, your movements and actions are also part of the virtual world it takes you too. Seriously this shit will make you fall over and reach for the barf bag it’s so intense.
