The rumour mill has been sent spinning at full speed once again, set alight by a series of pictures that appear to depict the controller for the soon to be released PlayStation 4. While a multitude of PS4 controller pictures have appeared in recent days the observant will have noticed two distinctly different controllers have been captured.
The initial picture that set chins wagging was published by Destructoid and appeared to be the prototype controller. This image spread quickly to a world hungry for PS4 facts. A second picture surfaced shortly after the first and appeared to be the finalised controller, sleek and simple in keeping with its DualShock heritage.
Sony nailed the controller from day one of the Playstation family, the latest DualShock looks to continue to build upon its families rich heritage while also delivering a high tech face lift.

Gamers rejoice, the first of the next generation consoles will be revealed to the world shortly. Sony has sent out the invitations, limousines have been booked and journalist wait with pens at the ready.
All invited parties will be gathering in New York on February 20th, awaiting the spectacle that Sony has prepared. Expectations are high that this will become the disclosure event for the Sony Playstation 4.
Also included for your viewing pleasure is the short promo video attached to the invitation. A brief glimpse presenting the intro the event, Sony’s iconic button layout rendered as you have never seen before.

Sony this month gathered its US game developers for a disclosure meeting. Project Orbis is indeed taking shape with Sony showing off and delivering a new generation of dev kit during the closed door meetings.
Sony’s offices were bulging with game developers as the presentations began. While the dev kit looks like any other tower PC it’s what’s on the inside that matters. This particular tall nondescript black tower includes Sony’s latest software and AMD hardware running the show, Project Orbis looks to be well on schedule for a 2013 release.
One more generation of developer kit is due before the PS4 is released, a release that should be simultaneous with the final silicon for the console, a major milestone.
