Mobile game developer Machine Zone have pulled out the big guns to promote their excellent Game of War: Fire Age, welcome to the Fire Age trailer featuring Kate Upton. A trailer that shamelessly appeals to the male gamer, a new demographic for Fire Age and a risky strategy with massive rewards.
With the recent release of the Android version of the fantasy MMO both iOS and Android players can now battle it out in the same world, iOS battling Android, the strong battling the weak and all struggling to be King. There is no word on a Windows version of the game although it is possible to play the game on a Windows PC using BlueStacks.

Electronic Arts look to be embracing the Play4Free gaming model. After releasing Battlefield, Need for Speed and Warhammer variations, all play for free, now it is the turn of the all time classic Real Time Strategy game Command & Conquer, it’s back, it’s better than erver, and it’s free.
C&C Tiberium Alliances has recently entered open beta, allowing anyone to sign up and get playing right now. Also adding to the excitement is the addition of Massivley Multi-player Online – MMO – to the new game. Initially battles are limited to 8 players, each Server has enourmous numbers of players in each world. Taking advantage of the web based structure of the game Electronic Arts have taken multi player to the limit, building the game from the outset to enable MMO gaming, allowing millions of players to enjoy the game online simultaneously once the game is fully released.

The enigmatic role playing experience that is EverQuest – EQ – will soon be joining the Free To Play – F2P – revolution. The new F2P world should be open for play at the start of March, in the build-up to the 13th birthday EQ on March 16. The original and many say still the best, EQ F2P takes us to the distant land of Norrath to explore and adventure in this fantasy world. Continuing its grand tradition with immersive gameplay, captivating storytelling and exciting worlds, this is the EQ legacy. A legacy that is embracing a whole new way of playing. Your way.
EQ F2P will allow a whole new generation of players to join those already haunted by the EQ experience. No date has been set for the official start of the F2P model, early March is the only clue given. Although Thom Terrazas – EverQuest Producer – did let slip that a number of events would be held in the week leading up to the 13th birthday celebrations. Hopefully F2P should be up and running by the 6th of March.
