The Creepiest Christmas Message Prize Goes To Boston Dynamics.

Boston Dynamics have put their incredible robot making skills to hard work creating a very scary Christmas message, a message that’s creeper than a car load of scary clowns. With three of their robot dog’s Spot playing the part of Santa’s Reindeer Boston may have been trying to give us a Christmas greeting from the future but they may have actually delivered a future Christmas warning of Charles Dickens proportions (Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come).

Presented for your viewing pleasure is the Boston Dynamics holiday message from the future, a future that sees Rudolf being a headless and therefore noseless robot Reindeer. Maybe it’s the fact I played Rudolf when I was a kid or maybe it’s just the fact that Santa says Happy Holidays and not Merry Christmas but I definitely get a creepy feeling when watching this one.

Toshiba PORTEGE Z830 Ultrabook, Super Hero or Too Damn Dear…

As the Christmas shopping season quickly approaches manufactures are busily getting there wares out there to tempt us. Toshiba recently announced its latest temptation, the Portege Z830 Ultrabook. Having also updated their line-up of tablets and laptops Toshiba seems to be making a serious push in the portable computing market. Like all great comic book super hero’s an Ultrabook must have at least one super power. In the Z830′s case it can lighten both your wallet and your backup, simultaneously.

The Z830′s specifications on paper certainly indicate no compromise computing, a laptop that won’t keep you waiting. CPU choice is plentiful with the full range of second generation Intel Sandy Bridge CPU’s available, i3, i5 or i7 are up for inclusion. System memory can be expanded up to 6GB along with 128GB of storage with the included SSD. The display is a flat Matt 13.3″LED display with 1368×768 resolution, low on reflection and even viewable outdoors. The bezel around the LCD display is on the larger size but still blends in with the overall industrial look of the Ultrabook.

Sphero A New Kind of Toy, The Spherical Super Hero…

The Christmas toy season is quickly approaching, toy companies around the world are beavering away in their labs trying to formulate the latest must have toy. Orbotix, a small company from Boulder Colorado may have this years viral toy sitting in the palm of their hand, a toy named Sphero. Orbotix have taken the worlds oldest toy, the ball, and dragged it kicking and screaming into the 21st century in turn creating the worlds only remote-controlled intelligent ball. Sphero, he will roll his way into everyone’s hearts and minds.
