Mozilla’s technology has been put to very good use by Trendy Entertainment who have now unveiled Monster Madness Online; the first full game based on HTML5 and asm.js. All put together just right to produce a 3D zombie shooter that runs entirely within your browser on almost every device available. No installation hassles or compatibility issues.

In a time when role playing games were solely the territory of teenagers dressed in fantasy costumes rolling dice on their custom made game board, the 80’s, one video game changed the world, Ultima. The first video game to bring together all of the best aspects of the role playing game tradition, rolling them into electronic form.
Electronic Arts and BioWare have teamed up to bring back that legend, giving rise to Ultima Forever. The modern day free2play interpretation of Origin Software’s ‘Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar’.
Initially to be released on PC and iPad the game will be fully cross platform and multi-player, allowing PC and iPad players to mingle. The public beta is currently available on Ultima Forever’s homepage, you will need to have an EA Origins account handy to complete the sign up.

Electronic Arts look to be embracing the Play4Free gaming model. After releasing Battlefield, Need for Speed and Warhammer variations, all play for free, now it is the turn of the all time classic Real Time Strategy game Command & Conquer, it’s back, it’s better than erver, and it’s free.
C&C Tiberium Alliances has recently entered open beta, allowing anyone to sign up and get playing right now. Also adding to the excitement is the addition of Massivley Multi-player Online – MMO – to the new game. Initially battles are limited to 8 players, each Server has enourmous numbers of players in each world. Taking advantage of the web based structure of the game Electronic Arts have taken multi player to the limit, building the game from the outset to enable MMO gaming, allowing millions of players to enjoy the game online simultaneously once the game is fully released.
