When inventive minds collaborate incredible things can be achieved. Take the Super Awesome Micro Project for example, a project that brought together extreme Lego constructor Steve Sammartino and Raul Oaida the 20 year old self taught technology genius. Two great minds working to produce the ultimate drivable Lego hot rod that’s powered by air.
The Super Awesome Micro Project started life as a simple enough concept, make an air powered car using easily accessible technology. In the process creating something so far outside of the box that it forces questions to be asked. Now, with 500,000 Lego bricks assembled during thousands of man hours of labor the air powered Lego hot rod is a reality.
Included for your viewing pleasure is the video that stunned the internet, the air powered Lego hot rod in action. While the top speed of 20 kph won’t break records it is an incredible demonstration of ingenuity and imagination.
