With the 4K revolution well underway LG is already preparing for the next television revolution, the 8K revolution. Don’t be upset if you’ve just decided to join the 4K revolution for Christmas your TV is not out of date already, LG is simply attempting to gauge public interest in these new 32 megapixel displays.
LG, Sharp and other TV manufacturers have actually had 8K TV’s up their sleeves for the last three years, Japanese TV tech company NHK even have studio video camera’s that can record in the hyper high resolution 7680 x 4320 resolution.
Still we can dream, early adopters can drool and TV revolutions will continue to roll on. CES 2015 it seems is already heating up with pre-show publicity flowing thick and fast.

When it comes to affordable high performance cars a hot hatch is the car of choice, the only decision really is which make. Renault, VW and Ford have built a reputation for high performance compact cars but there is only one that’s rated R, the Honda Civic Type R.
With a loyal fan base and a unique mix of performance and reliability the Type R is back baby and this time it’s going to demolish the Germans, Italians and French. Eating euro trash for breakfast, wait that doesn’t sound right, the Type R is set to battle it out for the front wheel drive track record at Germany’s Nurburgring test track.

Britain’s Government has announced yesterday that the first trials of driverless cars will begin on British roads in 2015. The trial will initially be limited to a small number of roads but this will stretch out to cover 3 cities during the three year trial.
Most of the major auto manufacturers are on-board with cars being developed by Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Honda.
Guided by a combination of radar, lasers, cameras and sat nav the British government hopes to see packs of autonomous cars traveling together. Initially the cars are all expected to have a manual override with the normal driving equipment in place.

As the name may suggest the amount of muscle in a muscle car is an important characteristic. This week Dodge announced the door slamming 707bhp 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat just to remind us what muscle really is. Then there is the sound, the Challengers HEMI always sounded good but the Hellcat is a whole other level, its evil good.
The Hellcat features the first HEMI to use a factory installed supercharger which sits atop the 6.2 litre V8, together they produces an incredible 707 brake horsepower and 650 foot pounds of torque. There are two gearboxes to choose from, the Tremec TR6060 six speed manual or eight speed TorqueFlight auto.

Nike ignited the worlds imaginations in 2011 when it released a limited run of Back to the Future II inspired MAG runners, shoes that exactly replicated Marty McFly’s footwear from the film. The shoes were however missing the infamous power laces that captured the world’s attention.
Rumours are running fast around the internet that Nike may correct this omission in 2015. According to Nike designer Tinker Hatfield who recently let slip that Yes the technology would appear next year, the actual year that Marty went to on his time traveling adventures.
