Barely Political have let Frank the Wolf loose in the studio once more, this time to do the voice over for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles latest trailer, and the results are hilarious. Fans of the world’s favourite heroes in a half shell are waiting in anticipation for the August 8 release of the new film, Franks voice over is sure to test if they are taking that wait far too seriously.
Having said that here at Highpants we think the movie looks good, hell we all thought the effects even looked pretty good on the first viewing.

Legendary sci-fi animation Ghost in the Shell is set to receive the Hollywood treatment with a live action film in the works. Masamune Shirow’s classic manga cyberpunk classic Ghost in the Shell has been recast into almost every digital animated format, full length movie, TV series, Telemovie and even music video. Soon hopefully we will be able to add Hollywood blockbuster.
The Deadline is reporting this week that DreamWorks have signed on a Rupert Sanders to direct the feature film. The wheels are once again in motion, now all they need are actors to take care of the live action aspect of the film.

The first in the new four part series this long play episode Border 1: Ghost Pain, each episode is called a border, sees the Major make her return. Exploring the not too distant future, a high tech future that sees man and machine merge.
Marking a new chapter in the Ghost series Production I.G have attempted to refresh the series with slightly changed character renditions, new voice actors and a new run time of 50 minutes for each episodes.

A little over a week ago now a single piece of news shocked the tech world to its core. LucasFilm had been acquired by Disney, George it seems had passed the Star Wars torch on to a new generation of cinematic wizards.
Disney announced the news on October 30. Disney CEO and George Lucas finalised the deal, signing on the dotted line and requiring one very large cheque, Disney paid $4.05 Billion USD. Instantly the legions of Star Wars fans set electrons flying as the internet groaned under millions of concerned questions.
Lucas at the press event tried his best to allay the fears of the many, “For the past 35 years [35 it has been young Luke], one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next. It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers. I’ve always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime.”
