The future of TV is global, with every channel and show available at the click of a button or swipe of hand. With multiple ways to consume every type of content; live or on demand video, radio and even video games, the future of global TV appears bright.

The Hendo Hoverboard, the Real Magnetic Propulsion Hoverboard as Demonstrated by Tony Hawk…

Dreams can and do come true, before our very eyes science fiction is turning to fact one idea at a time. Levitating transportation is one such dream that has recently taken another step towards becoming an everyday reality, all thanks to the Henderson’s. American company Hendo Hover (Jill and Greg Henderson) and their Hover Engine present electromagnetic lift and propulsion in action, this is the Hoverboard, and this time it’s REAL.

As a technology demonstration platform the Hoverboard was an excellent choice up until Funny or Die pulled their HuvrBoard prank on the world. Tony Hawk is still shaking his head in disbelief that people believed the Funny or Die prank was real, now as you will see below the half pipe legend has teamed up with Hendo to present the REAL hoverboard, reparations anyone.

The X-47B Aircraft Carrier Launch video Death is Elsewhere…

Testing of the X-47B continues in earnest, the latest video to capture these tests sees the X-47B performing landing and take-off manoeuvres aboard the USS Theodor Roosevelt. The spectacularly shot video ‘Death is Elsewhere’ features the events of August 17 in up close and personal detail. Each member of the aircraft carriers crew seems to stand to attention to observe the futuristic aircraft doing its thing.

Presented for your viewing pleasure is the high tech wonder that is the X-47B being put through its paces aboard a mobile military fortress. The A-10 Warthog Saved from Cuts, Sent To Work Fighting ISIS…

Footage has recently surfaced that captures an A-10 Warthog and Apache helicopters in action fighting ISIS. Apparently filmed by Special Forces troops on the ground in Syria the incredible video may show the officially announced October introduction of the A-10  has already happened.

The mystery began in Texas where eagle eyed photographers captured images of an unknown aircraft flying high in the atmosphere. This week the mystery deepened with images of another mystery triangular aircraft flying over Kansas.

BAE’s EM Railgun goes to Sea, Test Firing at Mach 7.5…

The invisible forces of electromagnetic power are slowly being tamed by the US Navy. In the labs for nearly a century the Electromagnetic Railgun is nearing completion and preparing to head to sea.

BAE is expecting to begin testing their latest high power EM Railgun aboard the US Navy’s JHSV class of battleship by 2016, just two years away. A test that will mark the first time an EM Railgun has been fired at sea. The technology isn’t due to go into service till after 2020 but the tactical EM Railgun is drawing near.

The DPT-S1 A4 Digital Paper by Sony, Plastic Displays Appear…

The paperless office may still be a long way from becoming reality but one more piece of the puzzle has just fallen into place. Sony has this week announced the release of their Digital Paper, hoping to shift the world one step closer to an entirely paperless office.

Sony’s new DPT-S1 is hoping to displace one of the most ubiquitous and user friendly device ever invented, no small task.

In order to achieve the paperless revolution Sony has a technological revolution occurring behind the bezel of the DPT. This is the first device to use the new Mobius flexible plastic display. A technology that should see cheaper and more durable displays evolve.

Google’s Project Ara, Progress Continues on the Modular Smart Phone…

Android on Windows Metro, the Mobile App Wars Take a Twist…

The mobile app wars are heating up quicker than summer in the southern hemisphere. Tech website The Verge has the inside scoop on the latest rumours surrounding Microsoft’s battle plans in the app wars.

According to The Verge’s contacts close to Microsoft a radical change in approach is being considered, the Metro tile interface may soon be Android compatible.

 Android is currently the leader in the mobile app market with over a million apps in the store, while Microsoft is in uncomfortable third place (200,000), bringing Android apps to the world of tiles may just catapult them into an equal first place in one foul swoop.
