The contentious tradition of ‘Reading Mean Tweets’ aloud took an interesting twist this month with celebrities joining forces to celebrate Jimmy Kimmel’s birthday, by reading the worst tweets thrown in Jimmy’s direction. With the troll infested internet generating more mean tweets than real news there is no short supply of loath-full commentary, so the late-night team sorted, filtered and selected the highest quality low down insults to read, and the results were pretty hilarious.
