An A380 Landing in a Crosswind.

The A380 is the biggest aircraft flying in the skies today but even the mightiest Airbus must obey Mother Nature’s elements, especially the wind. Watching a skilled pilot bring the big bird down safely in a strong cross wind is a true edge of your seat ride, 500 tons of man-made marvel pointing in unnatural directions as the pilot gently touches down, the plane only straightening once all wheels are in contact. Outstanding.

To get a true impression of just how big that plane is wait till the end of the video for when it turns at what seems to be the very last minute.

Presented for your viewing pleasure is the amazing footage of an A380 coming in to land on a very windy day in Düsseldorf, Germany. Sit back relax and be sure to keep that sick bag handy it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
